- NEW! Quarantine Guidance for fully vaccinated individuals: One recent change is the CDC and WI DHS recommendation related to quarantine of individuals who have received the vaccine. Those individuals who have received both doses of vaccine do not need to quarantine if they are a close contact of someone who has tested positive within 90 days after receiving the second dose unless they are symptomatic. If the close contact is after the 90 days of receiving the second dose, quarantine recommendations remain the same at this time. For more information on this, please see COVID-19 Health Alert # 27: Wisconsin has adopted the updated CDC quarantine guidance for fully vaccinated people who are exposed to COVID-19 (govdelivery.com).

After your vaccination you may have some side effects, which are normal signs that your body is building protection. These side effects should go away in a few days. Some people experience sore arm, slight fever, or feeling tired, while others have no side effects at all. We recommend for best protection against COVID-19, to get both doses of vaccine, even if you have side effects after the first dose.
