All Door County Government owned buildings and facilities will be closing their doors to the public to help reduce the spread of Covid-19. The County will continue to operate and deliver services wherever possible by phone, email or virtual meeting … and by appointment. Working days and hours have not changed.
This will go into effect for the Door County Library on Saturday March 21st, 2020, and at the start of business on Monday March 23rd, 2020 for all other County owned buildings and facilities.
Open:

Operations as normal. Preferred office supporting email, phone calls, virtual meetings, and appointments when needed during regular business hours Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. . Our vestibule is open 24/7/365 as always, so if you come to the Justice Center and need assistance there is an intercom system in the vestibule which will allow you to make contact with Sheriff’s Office staff that will be able to assist you.
Emergency Services

Highway and Airport
Highway Operations: Highway Department buildings are closed to the public. The Door County Highway Department will be going to on-call operations effective March 25, 2020. This will be in effect during the Governors emergency declaration. For any safety concerns related to State and County roadways, contact the Door County dispatch center. The County dispatch will then contact Highway Department supervisory on-call staff to address any safety concerns on all roadways of Door County. Highway office staff are available on a part time basis to address essential functions of the operations.
Airport Operations: The Door County Airport building is closed to the public. The Door County Airport is open to the public for incoming and departing flights.
Lift Bridge Tending operations: There is no change of service to the lift bridge operations, and are staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
The following services are available for essential purposes only such as medical, food, pharmacy, work. Rides are provided on an individual basis and riders are asked to ride in the back seat to allow distance between driver and rider.

ADRC bus/van service will be available Monday, Wednesday, Friday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and Tuesday/Thursday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Call 920/746-2548 at least 24 hours in advance.
